Nursery (thus far)

We decided to take the plunge and buy a crib, finally. We bought all of our furniture from Babinski's, but it was a struggle to pick something out. Pregnancy has made me extremely indecisive. I picture us using this furniture for all of our children so I guess it's a good investment, right?
This is what we have finished thus far. The chair is super comfy and everytime I walk past the room Tim is sitting in it just relaxing. We have still to hang pictures and decor from the walls, but that will get done in it's own due time (hopefully before he gets here).

Tim also spent the better part of 3 weeks (in the evenings after work) redoing our closets. He formatted them to his liking and then went to town. I love how they turned out and it was so much fun to fill them with all of his little stuff.

I love this tall shelf from Ikea. Even more, I loved the price!

A while back I made this cloth growth chart and hand stitched the numbers in with different colored thread. I still need to stitch our little guy's name at the top and hang it somewhere in the room, but for right now it debuts on the backside of the door.

Oh woops! How did these two cute foolios get on this blog post? I'd like to think they are very excited to meet this little guy, but in all honesty they have no idea what is about to happen to them. I have a feeling they are going to be uprooted and their entire lives as they know it will most definitely change.

So do you guys have a name picked out yet?

Cute room. I am looking forward to seeing it in person to really get the feel of it and experience the feng shui of the room. Hehe

Btw you are absolutely right about the dogs. Do you remember how many pictures we used to take of the cats? They were our babies. They still are and we of course adore them but they just get nudged over no matter how much you don't want them to. It happens.

Kirsten! How exciting. :) I might need you and Tim to come over and decorate my house so it can be as cute as yours! LOL. I'm very happy for you and can't wait for your little guy to get here. Babies are wonderful and your life will be so incredibly blessed! (Especially because little boys just love their Mommas SO much!) ;)

I love the room and colors! The crib is gorgeous... It looks so peaceful in there, I don't blame Tim for hanging out there no matter how comfy the chair is!

Yea! I love your nursery! I hope I didn't let some secret cat out of the bag at your shower. After I mentioned Tim moving furniture I thought...oh crap. AAA forgive me ;)

Can't wait to hang with you guys again. We just ate Indian takeout from our NEW favorite restaurant. Thanks to you guys ;)
