Not sure if it's an UPGRADE or a DOWNGRADE, but a grade nonetheless. Tonight we ventured out to dinner (no where fancy) with the little guy and we were surprised to learn that Olive Garden seats families with children in a back room as to not to disturb others without kids. Why had I never noticed this before? It had never occurred to before that children aren't seen very often at this fine dining establishment. I'm proud to say that we are now "banned" (or welcomed) to the back room.

welcome to the group! We started noticing that when we first started taking Britton out and it's like that at many restaurants around the area.
That is hilarious! Pretty soon you will be asking for the back room. It just makes things far easier!
What! When we went to the Fashion Place one about a year ago they didn't do that. Man I would have loved that when we didn't have kids because I swear we always sat by the screaming annoying kid in the restaurant. LiLo's pretty good in the restaurants and I hope it stays that way.
I've never noticed that before. Probably because we don't like Olive Garden! But, I don't recall ever taking the kids with when we've eaten there. I don't know if I really like the idea of being "segregated" because of having kids.
That is cool, I never knew that! Congrats on going out! I am SOOO sad I could not see you this week...I will make sure it works, next visit, this visit was a little different.
Embrace the back room....it makes life eating out with kids SO so much easier & less worrisome. They should break it to you gently for your first time though :)
It's the same way at CPK. The floors are different for a faster pick up I suppose. Pretty funny.
