Hello Cupcakes!

Don't ask me why but last night I was feeling the need for some cupcakes. So, at 10:30pm I start pulling apart the pantry looking for all yummy ingredients involved and discover we are out of eggs. "Sweety run to the grocery store"...and he did. Such a good husband he is.

I couldn't I want plain cream cheese frosted cupcakes?
...white pearls?
...brown sprinkles
...raw sugar? (I know that must sound disgusting but it was actually pretty good--and yes I tried all the cupcakes so I could decide--now I need to go run it all off) Sorry Tug--no cupcakes for you.
Or a mixture of them all?

Best Cream Cheese Frosting EVER!
  • 1/2 cup butter (one stick), softened
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened
  • 3-4 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1 teaspoon
  • 1-3 teaspoons of milk to thin out (depending on how thick you like your frosting)
Mix all ingredients in your kitchen-aid until super fluffy and yummy (oh and add some food coloring to make it look cutesy)

Of course, I can't do a post without putting up pictures of my cutest cupcake ever!

I think he was a little upset that he didn't get any cupcakes, but hey it was past his bedtime.

I've discovered...

...the camera (and will occasionally ham it up for pictures) pups (and will reach out and grab their hair)
...the tv (and will crank my neck to watch it) uh oh...we'll have to do something about that!
...and how cool I am when I copy my daddy (by wearing my shades on my head inside)

Congrats Wicky!

One of my little sisses is graduating from high school this year and has been accepted all around the country to multiple dancing programs. I'm so proud of her! Congrats Victoria!

Wow! I could look at these pictures of her all day. She's amazing!

Update for the Distant Fam

Gus got a haircut (his first one ever). Tim was finally persuaded to "trim" Gus' hair and this is how we got our little guy back. Dr. Joe's (love him) office had to shave him because he had so many sticks in his coat.
Love aside, this is why I married the man. He can fix ANYTHING!
Visiting Great-Gran Vigil again before mommy goes back to work.
Okay so we totally posed Miles for this picture, but we had to because we have an identical picture of Gussy that we wanted to replicate. P.S. BIG NEWS--Miles is into his 3-6 month clothing now and they're sorta tight on him. :(
Although he's getting bigger, he's still little to us. Little boy in a big hat.
Hanging with Bompa

Miles won't remember any of this, but before I returned to work we fit in as much as possible. We visited Discovery Gateway with the Lilyquists, and the Zoo & Aquarium with the Thompsons. Daddy's starting Miles early on the wall. Got to get those fingers callused.
Lastly, we decided that our chances on winning the cutest baby contest would greatly increase if we just sent Miles in so they could see for themselves. What to do you think--are our chances good?
