Gpa & Gma Fuller visit for Easter

Grandma and Grandpa Fuller made the drive down to celebrate Easter with us.
While in town we visited the park a few times and attempted to fly our kite.

We lounged around in the grass, soaking up all of the warm sunny weather.
We planted my garden in the backyard with a tomato hanging plant, basil, oregano, cilantro, chili peppers, and rosemary. These two below were the onlookers to the whole gardening afternoon. They're not related, are they?
Miles played dress-up with Grandpa's shoes.
Then we visited with friends at their house for a fun BBQ and Easter egg hunt.
On Easter/Sunday morning we woke up to all sorts of Easter surprises. Our elderly next door neighbors left the boys a little egg hunt on our front lawn with a darling note and fluffy stuffed bunny.
What a "ham" Graham is for the camera!
After the front yard egg hunt we said our goodbyes and headed off to our stake conference, where Elder Cook spoke to us, and Bill and Peggy made their trek home.
We sure did love having Grandma & Grandpa come visit. Next visitor-- Aunty Meggy! :)

Mr. Independent (sometimes)

Gosh darn this kid! He's trying his hardest to be more independent, but can't quite lick the habit of the binky and still needs momma's help dressing. He's constantly stealing his little bro's binky and blankets and as you can see his clothing too! Yesterday I told him to go put his pants on and he came to me like this, with his brother's shirt around his knees.
In other independency news--there are times he wants to be the one read to and he will come to me and snuggle in my lap with a book and sit there giggling at all of the pages for close to 30 minutes, but at other times he wants to be the one reading the book. Of course Graham is subjected to whatever Miles desires at this point, but somehow I don't think Graham minds. He absolutely adores his big brother and will follow him around the house squealing with joy. These two are such crack ups! I love being their mom!

Our New Adobe Abode!

We're finally settled in our new place and we LOVE it! It's so nice to spread out and use all of our furniture again and to get rid a TON of stuff. I'll take you on a tour...

The front entry way

Kitchen and dining area
Master bedroom
Master bathroom & boys' bathroom upstairs

Play area/loft
View of the living room from the loft & Guest bedroom/craft area

Living room with wall of windows. We haven't really decorated or hung any pictures yet. Any ideas as to what I could do with those HUGE built in shelves?

Backyard/side yards

This post is missing pictures of Miles' room because he's napping currently and I can't take pictures, but you get the gist. I also didn't want to post pictures of the front of the house because the numbers are visibly noticable and I'm too lazy to edit them out right now. :)

So what do you think? Did it entice you to visit us in NM?

Lost Hidden Post

I found this post hidden. Apparently I started it, saved it as a draft and then forgot about it. I love it! It's kind of like when you put your ski coat on for the first time that season and find money in one of the pockets. Makes me smile.

This post was intended for the beginning of February. So much has changed in their little faces since then.

Another Plug!

Are you sick of hearing about Embellish yet? Sorry-- it' s so new to me and I'm having so much fun with it. I've created another printable, but this time it's generic and could be used for just about anything girly (baby shower, bridal shower, GNO, book club...etc.).

If you like what you see, go on over and check out my sites. See ya over there!
