Attitude Already!

"Are you really going to keep me in my car seat while you eat dinner at this restaurant?"
"I'm not liking this one bit--get that camera out of my face."
"Okay... well I'm just going to pout until you pick me up.  And stop taking pictures of me!"

Hitting the neighborhood with mommy

Catching some rays in the stroller (don't worry Dad he was covered the entire time)
You're never too young to look good for the ladies
What a wonderful surprise waiting for mom at the end of the run!
First time in the jumper!! Goodness, could I love this kid anymore than I already do? Just love him!

Anxiety & Depression Sets In!

I was feeling like I missed the whole postpartum bandwagon until yesterday. I thought I had it all figured out. I was going to return to work part time and work some of that from home (seemed reasonable with the type of work I do and they've allowed previous employees to do such). I sat down yesterday with my boss and alas my position can not be switched to part time. So....that leaves me with two possibilities:

1. Go back to work full time--only getting to see my little peanut for 3 hrs/day before he goes to bed. Not to mention the whole pumping thing because our child hasn't been exposed to formula since the NICU.
or
2. Quit my job, sell our home and one of our cars and move in with the 'rents until the fall (that's when Tim will most likely be getting a better paying job outside of school and the one he's got already)

Dilemma! Advice needed.

WHAT!?!?! ARE YOU FOR REAL?

Most of the time I appreciate Oprah and her guests, and today's discussion was based around sex. While I believe it's absolutely the right thing to talk to our children and get them thinking about stuff, do you really think we need to give our children tools (and in this case the therapist was suggesting we provide vibrators and teach our children how to masturbate) to become more sexualized? Seriously, isn't there enough sexualization going on in the world--don't they get it enough everywhere else? What about keeping our kiddos knowledgable but innocent? ARGGG! You can be rest assured that we will not be purchasing any such "tools" for our children. Am I wrong here?

Eggsalent Easter Weekend!

Our first (and maybe last) attempt at cake pops!
First off, I love any reason to hone my craft skills (which lack) and Easter permited me to do so. While Kailee was on spring break she and I decided to get busy. We made bags, feather hair clips and these lovely cake pops from this website (there is no comparison--Bakerella's are waaaaaay better).
My fave is this little chickadee above.

Kailee devouring her hard work

Then on Friday I threw Tim a surprise shindig. As you can tell Nikki was thrilled to be there. :) We're so excited--Nikki got into the Master's of Social Work program up at the U. Congrats Nik!

Below is Ashley (Nate's main squeeze) and my little man enjoying each other's company at the partay.
My camera sucks (or maybe it's me--or maybe it's both), but we always love having friends and family celebrate with us. We were glad to see Cyd and Thomas there, seeing that Thomas just had his ACL repaired a few days ago (this was due to a skiing accident when we all went up to Deer Valley a few weeks ago)
Lastly, my little peanut in his first Easter attire. Celebrating all of these holidays were fun before, but even more fun now that we have a little kiddo. I'm so grateful for the gospel in my life and for the knowlege of Jesus's atoning sacrafice. It such a great feeling to know that I will be with my little family for ever!

Here is a bit of an oldie, but a goodie!

Random Montage

While at the grocery store I spotted Tim weighing Miles on the fruit/veggie scale, dressing Miles in cabbage by giving him a hat with a loose cabbage leaf he found on the ground, and setting him on shelves (long enough to take a picture with his iphone before I came to the rescue) full of chips and popcorn bags. If you can't tell--Miles was thrilled about this. Did I say Tim was 30?!?

Chillin' like a villan at Costa Vida with "Camma" Fuller

A not so happy Miles with mommy and her new mom hairdo. This picture was most likely taken around 7:45 during his 30 minutes of nightly fussiness. However, we've stayed true to our routine and we're glad to say he's been consistent (thus far) with his sleeping. 8:30pm-'til 4:45am, then back down until 7:30am. We sure are lucky parents to have such a great little snoozer.

Lounging with Padre' on the couch during Sunday General Conference
Shooting the breeze in my new baby legs (Tim thinks these are hideous on boys, but I couldn't resist how freaking cute he looks in them--who cares if they're girly, right?)
Visiting my Grandma & Grandpa Vigil after my gramps had surgery. You can tell they are quite smitten with the little dude.
And lastly, I caught Miles grasping one of his toys. I'm sure it was an accident, but I of course had to document this moment with a bajillion photos.
In a couple of the photos I took he was staring right at the red ring, but they came out blurry-- bummer deal!

Ohhh...and if anyone wants a good laugh, call Tim's cell phone and listen to his v-mail message. All I can say is NERD ALERT!

Baby Rescue Swimming

Infant Swimming Resource - Miles Self-Rescue

I'm a total nerd! I can't for the life of me figure out how to post this video. So you'll need to click on the above link--it's worth it and I think you'll be amazed. This video caught my attention because the little 11 month old's name is Miles. I guess to pass the class the kiddo has to float for 5 minutes. I'm not sure I could even do that. If I could find a place in Utah that provided these classes I would jump on it, but I'm not sure I should participate in the classes with my little peanut. I can't guarantee that I wouldn't jump in fully clothed to rescue the babies myself. Smart, but hard to watch.

dos month appointa-mento!

Miles had his 2 month dr. appointment today and it's official, he's one small peanut, but Tim wants me to remind everyone that the doctors don't take the measurement of a babies true potential of manhood; if that were the case, he'd be off the charts!

So officially, Miles is:
10 lbs. 12 oz. (25 percentile)
22.5 inches long (30 percentile)

A Blessing Indeed

Posing with Mr. Ribbit for his 2 month old pictures.
I can't believe it--time flies!
Miles looks very much like his cousin Logan in the above picture.
Proof that he really is a Fuller.
This past Sunday we had Miles blessed. However, I feel like the blessed one. I seriously can't believe I'm a mom to the best kid ever. Everyday is something new, whether it's a new facial or vocal cord expression. I can't describe how overwhelmed with joy he makes me feel.
Of course every blessing after party isn't complete without chocolate covered oreos!
Tim's sister, Nikki was so gracious and offered to throw the family/friends gathering at her BEAUTIFUL new home. With plenty of yummy food (thanks Mom for footing the bill at Costco) and lots of family and friends to mingle with on this special day, we couldn't have asked for a better blessing event. Miles is definitely blessed with and loved by so many people.
